Nectarines Exposed

In Depth

Listen, this is just a made up situation. Nectarinism is a recessive trait. In pollination, two parent peaches can make a nectarine. Two parent nectarines always make a nectarine.

What you’ll see below describes an inefficient – if benign – way to acquire nectarines. Not an abomination, barely disingenuous in the free market (unless you upsell the shaved peaches, then you’re bad).

But it’s cool, okay? In fact, a fun game to play at your kid’s next birthday party might be to “shave” peaches with Cool Whip and pretzel rods.
