Haha, yeah, the early/mid-90s is like the collective 1980s hangover years. “Oh god, what did we do last-... oooohhhhh. Fuck it, matte and brown. Matte and brown everything.”

The 1980s has to be just the most insane time for everything, from makeup to hair to clothes to music to freakin’ everything. It’s like COLOUR AND BIG AND FROST AND SHINY AND GLITTER AND TIGHT AND SHOULDER PADS. The 1980s is the ALL CAPS of fashion and makeup.

Seriously, everyone just kind of looks ever so slightly damp in the 1970s and it’s AMAZING.

I find that I just use a very small amount of blue-based dye with the pink (it’s kind of trail-and-error, depending on the exact shade you want) so it doesn’t end up too purpley-blue, but I hope that this works out for you.
